Lake Coffey is one of Beech Mountain's signature neighborhood parks nestled off of Lakeledge Road. Lake Coffey is a great place to fish as it is stocked regularly with mountain trout. Lake Coffey park is also a great place for exercise, with its 1/4 mile walking track around the lake, basketball court, and it serves as the junction point for Beech Mountain's premier Upper & Lower Pond Creek trails. You can enjoy an entire day at this wonderful park!

Perry Park has a newly completed picnic and parking area off of Tamarack Road, which serves as the trail head for Upper Pond Creek hiking trail. Enjoy a picnic, listen to the babbling creek, or enjoy a hike from this great neighborhood park!

Hayden's park is a wonderful area with gorgeous and serene surroundings. This park is centrally located at the junction of Village Road, Mariah Circle, North Pinnacle Ridge Road, and Northridge Road. It makes for a great walking destination, picnic spot, or a wonderful place to enjoy a good book!

Sunset Park is a neat neighborhood park located near the top of the mountain on North Pinnacle Ridge Road. Complete with grills, picnic tables, blueberry bushes ripe for picking, and the most gorgeous sunsets. This is a great family destination.

The Buckeye Recreation Center offers numerous facilities for all ages. It includes indoor gymnasium, tennis, kids playroom, living room area, and track. For warmer months, it includes outdoor tennis, walking trail, ball field, fishing boating, hiking, campfire area, and a picnic area.
